Jacksonville Florida Native, Alumni of The University of south Florida, B.S in Public health. Dr. Martin attended Pharmacy school at a private institution, South University located in Savannah Ga, receiving Dual degree in PharmD and MBA, where she graduated with high honors and deans list. Upon graduation, and while studying for board examinations and licensure, Dr. Martin served her local community via AMERICORPS VISTA program and completed 1 year service with the ARC of Jacksonville. Here she Developed unique skills such as the ability to empower, create, develop, and expand sustainability within an organization. Dr. Martin is truly grateful for that experience as if has shaped her foundation as a clinical provider early on in her career. Dr. Martin largely emphasizes community service serving as an active member of alpha kappa alpha Inc, NEXTUP JAX and Volunteers In Medicine.  Upon pharmacist licensure, Dr. Martin worked under leadership of City councilmen president Ron Salem, as clinical pharmacist supervisor for  3 years. Afterwards, Dr. Martin received a 3-year government contract clinical pharmacist specialist serving AD and retirees at both Naval hospital of Jacksonville and Kings Bay Medical Clinic in St. Marys Georgia. Here she developed her skill and passion for PGX application, medication management and Battlefield acupuncture.  Her past leadership positions include, Long term Opiate Therapeutic and Safety community (LOTS) Co-chair, PGx Clinic lead, and Founder of Optimize HealthRX.  Dr. Martin shares her mission to include using her skills to lead positive health outcomes for all who entrust Optimize Health Rx, LLC.
